Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Ngozi Nwosu have expressed their condolences and prayed for their colleague Kemi Afolabi’s health.
In a recent interview, Afolabi revealed that she was told by her doctor that she only has five years to live after being diagnosed with Lupus.
Iyabo Ojo apologized for not keeping in touch with the actress in an Instagram post.
She prayed to God for healing.
“I celebrate you today, my dear Kemi Afolabi, and I reject the doctor’s report concerning our lives,” she wrote in her post. I’m sorry I didn’t keep in touch with you; I didn’t know and didn’t hear anything.
“With this tragic news, my heart is heavy, but I have hope that God will perform a miracle in your life… he will not fail you.
“I’ve called and left you a voice message, and I’ll continue to support and encourage you both openly and privately. I adore you, girl.
“You will live long in his vast kindness and grace, and may his miraculous healing and miracle be upon you. Please recite a little prayer for her.”
Ngozi Nwosi wrote in the comments section about her battle with kidney disease and asked that the same God who healed her will heal Kemi Afolabi.
She encouraged Kemi to believe that she would survive longer than the doctor had projected.
“May the Almighty God, who healed me when they believed it was finished, heal you Kemi,” she wrote in her post.
“May his never-ending kindness be with you now and always, for there is nothing that God cannot do.” “Have faith, my love,” says the narrator.
Ngozi was diagnosed with kidney illness in 2012, which impaired her acting career.
